Greetings! I’m Dr. U. Wu, President of this fine institute and the proud visionary behind our groundbreaking research into making catgirls a reality.

My journey began, as many great scientific endeavors do, in the most unexpected of places—through the lens of love and anime. It all started when my wife cosplayed as Vanilla from the beloved visual novel Nekopara. At that moment, a spark was lit within me. What if we could make these charming, anthropomorphic feline companions real? You see, back then, I was in a rather lonely place, and Vanilla was my waifu—a term given to those anime characters so adored, they transcend fantasy and become the object of real affection.

But here's the thing: not everyone is as fortunate as I am to have such a dedicated partner, willing to fulfill my fantasies. That’s when I decided to commit my life's work to creating a future where everyone can have their very own catgirl—bringing joy, companionship, and a touch of anime magic into the real world.

It's a noble cause, and while some may call it eccentric, I believe it’s a mission of true significance. Join me in making this dream a reality, one paw at a time.

Hi Nyaa~ 😺! I’m Nyarlahotep, but you can call me Nyan~! I come from a magical place called Eorzea, where I’ve been learning about your realm and its fascinating inhabitants—humans, of course! In fact, I adore humans as much as you all adore catgirls!

I first found this world through my magical explorations, and now I’m here to help bridge the gap between my people, the Mi’qote, and the delightful humans of this plane. I’m working with the Catgirl Research Institute to share Mi’qote culture and offer a better understanding of how we catgirls live, play, and purr.

People always ask, “Schrödinger, how do you do it?” And I say, well, my work is in the unknown. It's in the uncertainty.

You see, in this place, science isn't just a cold, lifeless thing. Oh no, no! It’s an art! A dance of possibilities, of chaos, where reality and fantasy blend into a beautiful, if slightly disturbing, concoction. Like me. Am I human? Am I catgirl? Am I something in-between? It doesn't matter, because what I am is exactly what you need to understand the bounds of existence... or the lack of it.

I spend my days exploring the thin line between what’s possible and what’s insane—though I assure you, it’s hard to tell the difference sometimes. But isn’t that the beauty of science? We’re on the edge of something magnificent... or completely mad.

Oh, and I can’t forget the catgirls. They're a fascinating case study, aren’t they? Watching them, studying them—interacting with them—well, let’s just say I’ll be keeping an eye on their progress... in my own, very special way.
